Ann Wu, MD MPH

Ann Wu, MD MPH is a pediatrician and public health physician who spent 20 years at Boston Children’s Hospital before founding GeneSprout. As both a clinician and a mother, she saw firsthand the transformative power of early genetic knowledge — and the gap in access that kept it out of reach for most families.

Ann trained at Harvard Medical School and holds a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her clinical focus was in developmental pediatrics, where she worked with hundreds of families navigating unexplained diagnoses, rare diseases, and the long road to genetic answers.

GeneSprout is the direct expression of what she wished every family could have: clear, actionable genetic insight — early, and without barriers.
