David Querusio

Technology Advisor

David Querusio, is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience across consulting, strategy, architecture, and transformation.

He started his journey designing and building software solutions for various sized organizations which led to creating commercial software, that later got sold to Microsoft. He then joined Perot Systems and worked closely with the leadership at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare to transform during the internet boom. In 2014, David was named the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Harvard Pilgrim and transformed the claims processing capabilities delivering a 94% claims auto adjudication rate. In 2021 Harvard Pilgrim merged with Tufts Health Plan to create Point32Health.

From 2002 – 2024, David was involved the New England Healthcare Exchange Network (NEHEN) and Mass Health Data Consortium (MHDC), local healthcare collaboratives serving regional Payors and Providers who wanted to collaborate on data sharing and clinical and EDI transactions. He served as the board chair from 2021 – 2024.

David holds a graduate degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts. He was part of the AHIP Executive Leadership Program and held a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE), and Certified Scrum Master credentials. With a career built around scaling secure, data-driven infrastructure in complex, regulated environments, David brings deep expertise in systems architecture, data interoperability, and technology leadership to GeneSprout’s advisory team.
